Monthly Events

September 2005

Mingle with the Mutts The 1st and 3rd Sunday each month at the Franklin Co Animal Shelter. This month the dates are September 4th and September 18th.

The Unconditional Love Foundation will be holding an adoption event September 24, 2005, from 1-5 pm at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Muncie, Indiana.

We hope the event will educate and inform the public about the tragedy of pet overpopulation and what can be done to put an end to the of millions of homeless animals in shelters throughout our country. The public & their companion animals also can participate in the agility demonstrations, a kissing booth, and fun contests like best eyes, best kisser, mystery mutt, best wag, best trick, best smile, best singer, & celebrity look a like. Throughout the day there will be special messages from Sharon Stone, Jillian Barberie, Melanie Griffith, Stockard Channing, Bob Barker, Tippi Hedren, Bill Maher, Mike Farrell and other celebrities.

All animal rescue organizations are invited to set up a table. You may display your banner, bring your literature and photos of adoptable animals, sign people up on your mailing list, recruit volunteers & make appointments with prospective adopters. If you are bringing adoptable animals please make sure they are current on vaccinations & sterilized.
