 Pictured are Mary B and foster Randy, Sarah W and her award-winning pooch, Traelee, at the New Castle/Henry County Shelter fundraiser. The event was held at a gorgeous Newcastle community park and many rescue groups were in attendance. The event featured a pooch parade as well as pet supply vendors. All of the parade participants were included in a Best Pet Trick contest, a Pet/Owner Look-a-Like contest, and a Best Pet Costume contest. Traelee won the “Best Pet Eyes” contest! Randy came a close second in the group competition for noisiest barker, only slightly edged out by the shelties next to us.
